Railway · Parts to drawing · Rolling-stock maintenance
Railway components made to drawing, even as a single piece.
Sheet-metal parts, machined components and fabrications for rolling-stock builders, subsystem suppliers and maintenance depots: prototypes, small batches and spare parts.
Drawings can be handled under NDA on request.
The part that gets a train back into service.
In railway manufacturing and maintenance, compliance with the specification, documentation and reliable lead times matter, often for very small quantities. We organise production and documentation to the customer’s specification, from first part to delivery.
01
Spares and obsolescence
Parts no longer available from the original supplier, rebuilt from the drawing or the sample.
02
Prototypes and first parts
Units for new projects and modifications, with first-part inspection documentation.
03
Sheet metal, machining, fabrication
Stamping, CNC machining and fabrication coordinated by one contact.
04
Documentation
Material certificates and inspection reports supplied with the part.
Capabilities
What we make, and which network company makes it.
| Process | Typical components | Network company |
|---|---|---|
| Sheet-metal stamping and deep drawing | Covers, panels, brackets, interior and fit-out parts | STA |
| CNC machining | Supports, flanges, pins, parts machined from solid | CM |
| Welded fabrication | Secondary frames, equipment supports, fit-out structures | AG Carpenteria · RC Carpenteria |
| Engineering | Drawing reconstruction from samples, industrialisation | MIE Group |
Structural welding on rolling stock requires EN 15085 certification of the supplier: we quote it only within the certifications actually held, which are stated in the quotation.
How it works
From drawing to inspected part.
1
Send the drawing
STEP, PDF or DWG, with material, quantity and required date.
2
Feasibility
Technical review and manufacturability notes from an engineer, not a sales desk.
3
Quote
Part price, any tooling and lead time, itemised.
4
First part and delivery
First part inspection, documentation and delivery.
The Meccanica Italia network
One project manager. A network of specialist workshops behind it.
Fabrication, sheet metal, machining, engineering and heavy logistics, coordinated as one supply.
STA
Tool and die design, deep drawing, sheet-metal stamping
EN 9100 CERTIFIED
CM
CNC precision machining, fixtures
AG Carpenteria
Medium-heavy structural fabrication
RC Carpenteria
Light fabrication, fast turnaround
MIE Group
Engineering and design support
Muovo
Handling and transport of large components

Request for quotation
Send us the part nobody else wants to quote.
An engineer reviews every request. Attach the drawing (STEP, PDF, DWG) and tell us material, quantity and required date.
